Female samurai visual novel ChuSinGura 46+1 kickstarter needs more support

Have you ever heard the Japanese story of the 47 Samurai? No? Then this might be a great chance for you. Japanese developer Inre has developed a visual novel that tells the story around these samurai in an extensive comedic and existing visual novel. And to make things more exiting, all of the samurai have been replaced by beautiful female versions, with art by Nui. But don’t just take my word for it, have a look at the screenshots on the VNDB page here.

As for the Kickstarter, it has been initiated by new company “Japan Content”, and has a fairly high goal of $160,000. But one has to remember that the game’s story is split up into several versions/chapters, each of them focusing on different aspects of the alternative version of this historic tale.

Story

ChuSinGura 46+1 starts when Fukami Suguha visits the historic graves of the forty-seven Akou rounin from that same period. While there he passes out as he watches the solar eclipse and finds himself waking up in an unknown world. Although he still might be Fukami Suguha, he’s now in living in the distant past of the Edo period where he gets to play his part in the story of the forty-seven Akou rounin. Except different from actual history, they are all female! How will his part play out? And will he be able to get back to the modern day?
