New titles announced by Mangagamer at Anime Expo

This year’s Anime Expo has started in the LA convention center, and as usual, Mangagamer announced several new titles in their main panel. The announcements include two titles from existing partners, a title by new partner ChuableSoft, and one BL title as well as an otome game.

If You Love Me, Then Say So!
“If You Love Me, Then Say So!” is an award winning title by Japanese developer ChuableSoft (Original title: Watashi ga Suki nara “Suki” tte Itte!). It was the winner of the 2015 Moege Award for top game design and features an extensive event system with plenty of branching paths to take you to the girl of your choice. The story for the game was written by Syuusei Hanno, who also wrote the story for another Moege Award winning title, Ano Harewataru Sora yori Takaku. While the art was handled by Mango Pudding, Chiri, K-ko, and Syroh.

In “If You Love Me, Then Say So!”, Souta’s school life suddenly changes after he meets a fairy named QP. Het gets to meet Ayame Himekami, a kind and gentle girl from the same gardening club, as well as his classmate. His relation with his childhood friend Yuuki Goshogawara also takes a turn for the better, although she still likes dirty jokes. Even his ex-girlfriend Mahiru Komachi makes her reappearance. At one point he will have to confess his love to one of them, what will be her answer?

A special webpage has been opened here with all the information and several CG samples.

D.S. -Dal Segno-
Next up is a new title from Mangagamer’s existing partner Circus. Dal Segno is a game that was only just released in April of this year, so it’s still brand new. The story takes place on an island with an everlasting summer and a pleasantly refreshing climate. It’s almost like paradise. An island where everybody can be happy. Protagonist Atsuya has just transferred to the school on the island. Where shortly after arriving he meets an AI in the shape of a girl named “Ame”. She’s responsible for maintenance of the island, and guides him to the student dorms.

Waiting for him in the dorm and at school are the other 4 heroines in the story. They are all vastly different and include a flawless oujou-sama and a girl stuck in her own childish dreams. Just what kind of happiness is waiting for Atsuya?

With art by Da Capo series artists Yuki Takano and Natsuki Tanihara, as well as a story by Shin Itsukihara, Aibane, and Shingo Hifumi, the game is definitely set to be top-notch. A special page with some CG samples has been opened here. The game will be released with an all-ages edition as well as a 18+ edition available.

Maggot Baits
For those that loved a title like Euphoria, the announcement for a translation of Clock Up’s Maggot Baits might just be the best news of their weekend. Just like Dal Segno, Maggot Baits is also a brand new title. It was released in Japan only last November. For those that haven’t heard of the title before, it’s another dark erotic title with brutal violence. The title won the Top Fetish game 2015 Moege award.

If you think your stomach is up to it, pay a visit to Mangagamer’s game page to look at a preview of the game.
