New titles coming up by Mangagamer include Beat Blades Haruka and an all-ages girls love story

It seems to be a good time for fans of girls love and yuri, with Mangagamer including another one of such titles in their announcements at this year’s Anime Expo.

A Kiss For The Petals – Remember How We Met (vndb)

So let’s start with that title first. If you’re a fan of yuri you surely must be familiar with the “Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o” series. Now, Mangagamer will be bringing a PC port of the all-ages iOS/Android game called “Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke o – Deatta Koro no Omoide ni“, the English release being named “A Kiss For The Petals – Remember How We Met”.

A Kiss For The Petals - Remember How We Met

It’s fall and when it’s time to change into their winter uniforms, Risa suddenly remembers the day that she first met her girlfriend Miya. And while they’re now living a passionate life together under the same roof, they used to only quarrel with one another. The reason for those quarrels used to be all the times where Risa tried to figure out as to why Miya was always skipping classes.

Though now, even after they’ve become a couple Miya hasn’t changed those habits. Risa smiles and giggles as she remembers the past, causing Miya to look at her, puzzled. The first day that they met…

Beat Blades Haruka (vndb)

The second new title included in their announcements is a slightly older game from Alicesoft, namely Choukou Sennin Haruka. It’s a RPG/simulation game with quite a bit of gameplay involved.

Beat Blades Haruka

Takamaru Ikusabe is an ordinary student who’s pursuit of love is constantly being obstructed by Narika Shihoudou, the daughter of the landlord. Then when on one night they get assaulted by a mysterious group of people, a female ninja come s to their aid. That girl’s name was Haruka Takamori, the girl that Takamaru has set his eyes upon.

Haruka declares him her young master and forces herself onto him. That’s because Takamaru’s stuff is special and provides her power. With the newly obtained power Haruka defeats the attackers. However, that was only the start of the long battle to come…

Himawari -Pebble in the Sky- (vndb)

And the 3rd title is called Himawari, a game originally developed by doujin group Blank Note. Mangagamer however, will be working with Frontwing’s remake version of the game. Which contains updated character art, at the very least.

Himawari -Pebble in the Sky-

Youichi miraculously survived a plane crash 2 years ago but unfortunately his parents did not. He himself has lost all memories of the event however. Nowadays he’s all immersed in developing a rocket at the space club at school together with his friends, when suddenly an UFO crashes down in front of him.

A girl called Aries emerges from the UFO, but she seems to have lost her memories as well. And so she comes to live in Youchi’s house, marking the start of a change in his mind, his memories of the accident 2 years ago slowly coming back.

Final notes

As a final announcement, they also mentioned that their Steam release of Umineko will get an updated translation and sprites, among other updates.

Now none of the aforementioned games have a release date just yet, so we’ll have to wait for more information on that. A game that did get a release date, is The Menagerie by Lupiesoft.
