Delay for Wonder Fool’s Natsu no Majo no Parade

Japanese developer Wonder Fool has announced a delay for their debut game Natsu no Majo no Parade. The game was originally meant to be released this month, but has now been delayed until September 30. This means that it’s the first (and hopefully last) delay for the game about a world in which witches are commonly accepted. The scenario for the game is written by Hozakura, a veteran writer which you might know from some recent games by Lump of Sugar. Artist “Any” also worked on the same game, “Kodomo no Asobi”.

If you can’t wait to get started on the game, a trial edition is already available for download on the game’s official website.

Natsu no Majo no Parade
The world in Natsu no Majo no Parade is just slightly different from our own. In this world it sometimes happens that a girl is born with strange powers. They are called “witches” and when they grow up it’s their duty to help others wherever they can. Yukito happens to be the son of one of those witches. His mother Yurisu has been considered the greatest witch in recent years. Of course Yukito himself was born without any power and is just living a peaceful life.

It’s at that time that 3 apprentice witches appear in his life. They came to his town for the “Witch Parade” in order to become full-fletched witches. All 3 come to live under the same roof, where Yukito decides that he wants to help them. He doesn’t want to let them life on their own in this unfamiliar town.

Then one day, one of them then tells him that she is his fiance. Of course, Akito has no remembrance of such event and asks for more details after he recovers from the initial shock. He learns that they all made a promise with Yurisu that they would become Yukito’s bride once they had become an excellent witch. Yukito will now have to choose one of them once they finish their training. Upon hearing that, his senpai at school and his brocon sister also quickly join into the mix.

Looks like this will be a busy summer for Yukito…
