Front Wing opens website for new game “Island”

In the same month that Front Wing’s Hatsuru Koto Naki Mirai Yori will be released, the company opened the website for their next game. Which will be a title called “Island”. The newly opened website starts with the world page, the character pages, a download page, and the product page.

At the world page you can learn about the story and background of the game. It has sub-pages for the main story but also a brief preview of the island for example.

Story

This story takes place on an island located far south from the mainland. It is an island that has been blessed with rich nature and feels like a paradise, a place where one would want to stay forever. But there is a complex history surrounding the island, as it tried to remove itself from history, abandoning the Marine Station in the process.

Back in the current time frame, Island’s story begins when a young man washes up ashore, who claims to have come from the future. He disregards all traditions of the island and instead struggles to change the future. But is that really his only goal? And what about the three young girls, each of them a daughter of one of the three main families on the island?

Staff & Other product details

At the product page we get a confirmation of the staff members who will be working on the game. Yousai Kuuchuu (vndb) will be the main person responsible for all the character art and CG of the game. Yousai has previously worked on other Front Wing games like Makai Tenshi Djibril and Himawari.

Speaking of Himawari, the main scenario writer for that game, Goo (vndb), will be responsible for the scenario in Island.

Oh, and the page will also confirm that Island will be another all-ages game.

So far there’s no concrete release date yet, but it seems that Front Wing is aiming for a Spring release.
