October might be a busy month

It’s a new month and that means that new games will be released. If all the planned releases make their release date, this’ll prove to be a busy month for fans of visual novels. For example, what do you think about Primal x Hearts 2? The sequel to Marmalade’s success game was previously delayed from an August release but hopefully it’ll make this month’s release.

The next game that I’d like to mention is Koi x Shin Ai Kanojo by new brand Us:track. Will the school life love story be one to remember? And if you like school life, then how about combining it with flying? Akabei Soft’s Sorairo Innocent follows just one month after Seikishi Melty ☆ Lovers but was made by an entirely different team.

With that we’re not out of school romance just yet, since there’s also ChuableSoft’s Watashi ga Suki nara “Suki” tte Itte, a title that seems to sequel their Sugar+Spice series. Lump of Sugar and GLace bring in some variation with their titles Kodomo no Asobi and Ama no Sora Retrospect respectively. The first one is a story about a protagonist under the influence of a strange curse, and the second revolves around a parallel world accessible from the local lighthouse.

Speaking of parallel worlds, Unlucky Re:Birth/Reverse by Windmill has its unlucky protagonist thrown into a new world, where luck actually seems to be on his side.
It seems we’ll also finally get to experience Makura’s complete remake of Sakura no Uta. The original game never made it to a release and the new version of the project had some unfortunate delays earlier this year. Now it has officially reached gold status however, so no more delays (hopefully).

And there’s more! The RPG Kenseiki Alpha Ride by Eternal has just reached its gold status and is now ready for release. It’s a game with a huge amount of characters and seems to promise a lot of story and gameplay potential. Definitely check it out if you’re a RPG fan. If that’s not your thing, and say for example, you’re more into vampires, then I recommend onomatope’s Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra. In this game, the protagonist finds out about his roots the hard way and ends up in a conflict he never wished for.

The final games on the Japanese side of the month are Tincle ★ Twinkle Festival by Digital Cute. That one’s for you, if you’re a crazy-, over the top-, ridiculous-, cross-dressing-, and quickly found out-,  story-liking person. But if it’s not your thing after all, and you just want the you-know-what, then there’s the fandisc for Hani Tsuma for you to pick up.

Let’s not forget about the English side however, For example, Shizuku no Oto by Japanese amateur group Aiueo Kompany is scheduled to release on Steam at the end of the month. Which does not seem to have a very lighthearted kind of story. For which Mangagamer’s Kara no Shoujo – The Second Episode seems to be a good fit. The sequel in Innocent Grey’s arguably most-popular series is almost available in English for your reading pleasure.

Final mention is the updated and extended version of Go! Go! Nippon, called Go! Go! Nippon 2015, have a look at Mangagamer’s pre-order page if you were planning to get it while it’s still on sale.
