PS Vita edition announced for Hooksoft’s school life romance game Melty Moment

Piacci, a developer mainly working on PS Vita ports has opened a teaser page to announce a PS Vita port for Melty Moment, a game by Hooksoft. It’s a school life romance visual novel released in January last year. The game was subsequently followed by 2 mini fandiscs, each focused on 2 specific characters.

The page for the new port is available here though there isn’t a particularly large amount of information about it yet. It does mention that the game will receive an addition to the scenario and new CGs, but whether that means a new route or additions to the existing heroine routes isn’t mentioned.

Original artists for the game are Rakko, TakayaKi, and Hakone Odawara. And the main bulk of the scenario was written by Morry, Tsubaki Tokino, and Seikuu Hiiragi.

Melty Moment

There is a residential area just a few train stations from the city, also known as a commuter town. Without the huge skyscrapers like those you see the in the city, the simple houses and apartment buildings give a calm and nostalgic feeling. You can even see the sky without actually having to look up and at dusk the distant mountains and hill roads are dyed in a pretty red color.

Melty Moment takes place at the end of summer, in September. The protagonist is peacefully spending his days with his friends as they walk back home. Then, from just a tiny chance, signs of romance are slowly appearing in his days. I wonder what chance it was? It can happen in the tiniest of everyday events. Like when suddenly looking up to meet one another’s eyes, or the touch of a hand when grabbing a book, maybe even the first smile that you gave me.

Those are the moments that will make up our days.
