Trials for Corona Blossom, Gin’iro Haruka and Triangle Love

This week brought us a lot of visual novel news, but it also brought us trial version of some upcoming games that are expected to release soon. The first of these is a trial for Corona Blossom Vol.1 by Frontwing. Available in both English and Japanese, the 756 MB demo can be downloaded from either Steam or one of the mirrors listed on the Japanese version of the site if you want the adult version. Different from the Steam version, it also features a preview of one “x-rated scene”.

The second trial of the week is the one for “Gin’iro, Haruka” by Tone Work’s. A title that’s scheduled to release at the end of August. Having been delayed from June this year it’ll be their first title since the release of Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai in 2014. This is the second trial for the game. It’s just over 1 GB in size and can be downloaded from one of the mirrors listed on the official site here (NSFW).

A company that has had more releases since that year is Campus, though to be fair their focus lies in much shorter titles. Triangle Love is a title that has been scheduled for August as well. With just 189MB this trial seems to be fairly small, though the download from the official site should be pretty fast.

Meet Keiji Osaki: a young man who hates dealing with machines, despite being very skilled at working with them. That’s just the kind of guy he is.

After failing his college entrance exams, he begins helping out at his grandfather’s workshop, which specializes in repairing VORKS, heavy-duty industrial robots. For a while, he enjoyed a quiet life in the countryside, doted on by the workshop’s regular patrons.

One day, however, his life suddenly takes a turn for the strange, when he encounters a metallic lifeform attached to a meteorite that fell from the sky.

To make things even more complicated, the organism he rescues takes the form of a forgotten girl from his past.
This is how his life with the metallic organism known as R-ne begins. But after a while, R-ne learns how to speak, and tells Keiji that she wants to go back to her home planet.
Moved by her words, he sets his mind on sending her back into space, no matter what.

This may prove difficult, though, when a female space pirate – also known as a rare metal hunter – appears out of nowhere, and gets in his way.

Caught up in this whirlwind, will Keiji and his friends be able to send R-ne safely back to her homeland?

Snow is not an uncommon sight in April in one of the northernmost towns of the country. Yukito is a well-known honor student at the local school, unable to leave those alone that need his help. As a second year student the new spring will bring him new feelings in his teenage life. Feelings that will soon turn into beautiful realisation.

In this game there are five heroines, first there’s the transfer student from Canada, Berthly. She loves to paint but only knew the very basics of Japanese before she came to Japan. Next up there’s Hinata, a junior at school who also can’t leave someone alone when they need help. Momiji is Yukito’s classmate and sits next to him in class. She wants to make it onto the big stage of theater plays.

Also aiming for the top is figure skater Mizuha, Yukito’s childhood friend. He gets to meet her again after 2 years abroad. Last of the heroines is his sister-in-law Yuzuki, who somehow feels far away. But maybe that’s because it’s only been one year since she and her mother moved in with them.

From here the story will only have one goal. After so many years, Yukito’s life will take a big turn in just 3 seasons. This is a story of love–

Mitsuru can really hit if off with Karin when it comes to their enthusiasm for entertainment like game centers, bowling, darts, karaoke, and many more. And since Karin also has a best friend named Ayame it doesn’t take long before they regularly hang out with the 3 of them. With 1 boy and 2 girls in their small group you can say it’s quite the oddball mix. Even calling it something like playboy behavior. With so much overlap in their interests, it doesn’t take long before Mitsuru and Karin grow even closer together. And despite her own feelings for our protagonist, Ayame is satisfied with taking one step back and simply watching the two of them from the sideline.

In their second year of school Karin will suddenly have to change schools, and to prevent having a long hard road before she has to move she cuts all ties with them immediately. But even with Karin out of the way, Ayame keeps her feelings inside. Their “more than friends, less than lovers” relationship lasts all the way into their third year at school when Ayame finally decides to confess. On the very day of her confession however, Karin suddenly makes a comeback. What will this mean for their relationship?
