Western company Sekai Project has posted another update for their localization of Key’s Clannad. Just recently, they announced that they unfortunately had to add DRM restrictions to the physical edition of the game. In today’s update however, they announced that all feedback had been heard and that VisualArt (Key’s parent brand) has actually given the okay for a DRM-free release.
In the message they also state that the cancellations, which followed the original message, have not yet been processed. If you still want to cancel they ask that you’d mail them once more to confirm your cancellation. And for all the others they are thankful for your support and hope you continue to do so in the future.
A final release date had not yet been given for the English edition of the game. It’ll be available through both Steam and the Kickstarter for a physical edition.
