In Kanojo Step you play through the eyes of a protagonist who has moved so many times that he lost count. This time, he comes to live in a private home provided by an old lady. Farmland spreads out in front of him when he opens the windows, and there’s a thick forest leading up a mountain slope at his back door. It’s definitely a rural place. Of course there are no convenience stores around either.
His older sister tell him that this was the last time they had to move, he’s free to do as he wishes after he graduates from school. In other words, this is the best time to fall in love. And so it comes to be, that he begins to search for his first love.
