Magicalic Sky High takes place in a world where a parallel magic world suddenly appeared. It took a long time and a lot of cooperation between mankind and the new magicians to find a way to live in peaceful coexistence. Now it’s about 10 years after that magic world had appeared. Over the years numerous schools were built in order to cultivate one’s hidden magic power.
One of those schools is the main stage for our story, and follows a student named Hayato Tenma. Who unfortunately has not been blessed with a lot of magic power, and yet still he has something unmatched by anyone else: “Flying.”. He had always loved to fly and did so whenever he could.
But one day when he was flying on his broom he suddenly lost his magic power. He survived the fall at the expense of his precious broom and found himself in unfamiliar ancient ruins. Within those ruins he found a carefully preserved broom. Our story begins there; a story about flying in the sky.
