The start of the new spring semester is always a depressing event for protagonist Yuuto. Most freshman students are able to enjoy a moment where they can take a picture or record a video at the school gate to share with their parents. Of course by now, Yuuto is already familiar with the ritual. It’s one that he has been unable to participate in. But right after he lost his grandmother earlier in the spring, he feels even more alone.
Ai is someone who knows exactly how that loneliness feels. Abandoned by her parents, she never enjoyed a normal family life. Searching for the meaning behind her own existence, she and Yuuto are the exact opposite, yet very similar. Slowly the distance between them narrows, with Yuuto hiding a certain regret, and Ai hiding a certain lie.
Can they turn it into something bright?
