AXL has updated the website for their 11th game, Ayakashi Contract. In the update they added a page for some of the sub-characters and opened the gallery page. Providing 9 sample images in total. Ayakashi Contract is a story centered around Yukiya Asama as he deals with the problems of youkai while still having to manage his own school life. It’s currently set for a release at the end of May.
The sub-characters introduced are two of his classmates, Wataru Hachikou and Katsumi Seta, as well as the youkai representative of the master of the forest, Shoji.
Ayakashi Contract
Due to his parent’s frequent job transfers, protagonist Yukiya Asama has been moving from town to town. Unable to get many friends, he refused to go with his parents when their next job brought them overseas. Instead he moves to a small rural town where his uncle currently resides. After a long train ride to town he gets lost in the forest and is saved by a large “youkai”, called the master of the forest.
The next morning a representative of the master of the forest appears before him and tells him the contents of the promise he made. He is to help any youkai with their problems. With his days now filled with the problems of youkai, his school transfer is not much of a success. People consider him strange when he’s talking to “himself”. But there may be a few exceptions…
