Onomatope opens website for vampire visual novel Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra

Developer onomatope* has formally opened the website for their latest game “Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra”. Originally announced last month, the newly opened website now provides more details on the game’s story, characters, and spec details. Other pages still remain closed and are expected to be opened at a later date.

Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra will feature art by Risa Miyasu (vndb) and Crowe (vndb). You might know Risa Miyasu from the various games in the “Gangsta” series by Whitesoft, while Crowe is a member of the Sugar*Berry*Syrup circle and seems to be new in visual novel works. The scenario for the game will be written by Ayumu (vndb) -who worked for C:drive and doujin circle Grand Cross before-, as well as Fuuta Umihara (vndb), whose most recent work is Imouto Spiral by Macaron Soft.

Story

Shuuma is supposed to be a regular young youth. That is, until a self-proclaimed vampire named Iris abducts him and tells him of his secret birth blood line. She claims that he’s a descendent of the “originator”, and that she’ll now attempt to awake Shuuma as the originator. It’s at that time that the ring he received from his mother suddenly starts glowing and prevents him from fully waking up as a vampire. Shuuma then also uses that very opportunity to escape from Iris, though his body now craves from the blood of someone from the opposite sex.

He at first however doesn’t want any of that and just wants to live as a normal human being. Unfortunately things seemingly won’t be as simple for Shuuma as Iris hasn’t given up and various other parties also start moving. In the end Shuuma now finds himself involved in a battle he did not wish for…
