Prometheus releases trial edition for Koi to Mahou to Kanrinin

New developer Prometheus has released a trial edition for the first release of Koi to Mahou to Kanrinin. The game was recently delayed to August and with this trial release it at least seems that development is progressing nicely. You can get it over at one of the mirror sites listed on the special page of the official site (nsfw), or head over directly to Holyseal. It’s 401MB in size.

Koi to Mahou to Kanrinin is a game that’ll be split over 2 releases, with the first release containing the story for 2 of the heroines. Its second release is expected to contain routes for the remaining 2 heroines. The art is done by Shou Ryuuga, a name you might be familiar with from some games by I.D. Finding the scenario writer seems to be a tad more problematic though.

Story

Magic is something for fairy-tales, movies or manga and the like. But there’s actually a side to the world which most people don’t know about, a side where magic exists. It’s use is originally limited to a scarce amount of females, but for some reason our protagonist Takeru has been born with those powers as well. Troubled by his own powers he has always been trying to distance himself from other people.

Then on one day his foster parent, his grandfather, passes away. He was also the founder and manager of the school that Takeru attends. In the will that his grandfather left behind he hands over management of the student dormitories to Takeru. And that’s where Takeru´s live will take a turn. He never expected to fall in love with a girl that lives in the dormitory, nor did he expect to be the aim of a huge organization that wants his powers…
