Hooksoft has announced the release date for Traveling Stars, an upcoming game in celebration of their 15th anniversary. The game will be released on August 28 this year, with pre-orders available starting today.
Traveling Stars is a visual novel set in a beautiful parallel fantasy world and will feature art by their regular artist Makako Matsushita and TakayaKi. Other artists include Hiro Suzuhira, Yu Uonuma and Naenae.

Protagonist Souma Shidou used to be living an ordinary life in peaceful Japan. But on one day the young boy had to act an important role in the world. He was to be a hostage in a parallel world that suddenly appeared. And his role was to learn about the magic culture that exists there. It’s a world where he has no friends, no television, and no games, but for Souma that was all the more a reason to like this fantasy world that everybody dreams of.
While within that world he meets various girls like a kind and caring well-endowed elf, a mysterious yet beautiful vampire, and an angel-like impish kind of girl. The main stage for the game will be in a school newly-built for the purpose of the exchange. Within this school you´ll see a story unfold with influences from both worlds and plenty of interactions with each of the heroines.
