Last Friday new brand Palette Qualia has published a teaser page for their debut work, a game called “Otome * Domain”. Both the new brand and game were announced at this year’s summer Comiket in Japan. Now, the newly opened teaser page also has the main image that came with the original announcement. It shows us the 4 likely main heroines of the game.
The artist for the game is Mako Tatekawa, someone we haven’t seen in the world of VN yet. Nyaon however (vndb, incomplete), is the scenario writer for the game, and is surely a name that you might be familiar with from other games by the Palette main brand. One of such examples is “Hare Tokidoki o Tenkiame” from late 2011.
Since the teaser doesn’t really provide any new information the only thing we know about the story so far are from materials that were released earlier. Which say that the story in Otome * Domain will be about a protagonist who’s only family was his grandmother until she passed away recently. He is then picked up by an ojou-sama and before he knows he finds himself crossdressing to live in an all-girls’ dormitory.
Otome * Domain does not have a release date yet, but we do know that it’s targeted for 2016. Now, it might also be worth mentioned that main brand Palette also announced that they’re working on a new title which has art by Tsubasu Izumi. Though there hasn’t been anything more on that yet so far.
