Today a trial edition for Smee’s upcoming game “Pure x Connect” has appeared on download mirror sites. The official site does not make any mention of the trial yet but it’s available for download from either Holyseal or the Getchu page for the game. It’s roughly 1 GB in size. (Update: The official site has the demo as well now)
Pure x Connect is set for a release on May 29 and will feature art by Yuki Ameto, who worked on several games by Smee before. The scenario is written by Yuu Hayase, who also worked on games by Smee and its parent brand Hooksoft.

Of course every man wants a girlfriend, and the protagonist in Pure x Connect has been longing for love for a long time. He’s had enough of wasting time with his current boring days. He wants to have a love just like in those eroge games. But the people around him tell him that he should look at reality or ridicule him. Is he wrong by yearning for something like that?
Then this winter he might have reached a turning point, when he is invited to work at a popular (to girls) bakery restaurant near the main street. Now having been put in a world he has never experienced before, he might be able to change his everyday life.
