This weekend Japanese developer Minato Soft has opened up the website for their latest game, “Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu”. It has been a long time since the game by the developers of majikoi was originally announced, and now we finally get a whole bunch of new information.
But let’s first start with a few things we already knew. The art for the game will be done by Matsuryuu (vndb) and the scenario will be written by Romeo Tanaka (vndb). Those familiar with these names will recognize that they also worked on Cross Channel (vndb).
At the newly opened website we can find a story / introduction page, character pages for the main heroines, and a page which contains voice samples for the heroines (with no names mentioned just yet). And speaking of which, it seems that there’s also 2 samples for the male protagonist, though it’s unsure whether how much of his lines will be voiced.
Story
The protagonist doesn’t know what he wants to do in the future, he does not have any kind of dream that he wants to pursue. So currently he just spends his days hanging around with his friends. When one day his classmate Sayuki asks him if he wants to help with development of a gal game. She says that she had become interested in his help after she read one his works intended for the drama club.
The protagonist doesn’t know anything about gal games but Sayuki claims that she has the ability to make it a success. Can they make the game and will it be a success like she claims it will be? This is the story of youths taking a daring step into the unknown…
Characters
Sayuki Kuroda
She’s the protagonist’s classmate and is not afraid of approaching other people. She prefers to wear black clothes and loves games, manga and anime.
Yuuka Kobayakawa
Yuuka has always dreamt of becoming an actress but never bothered chasing it. She does however receive great expectations from her fellow club members and cheerfully moves forward.
Uguisu Yuuki
Uguisu is a first year student who loves drawing, always uploading her work to an illustration site. Her normal personality is quite timid but can be stubborn when it comes to art.
Teruha Andou (?)
She is a straightforward person and a so-called die-hard otaku. Teruha also has a part-time job at a maid-cafe but is bad at dealing with Sayuki’s personality.
Release date
We also get a release date! The game has been set for a release on March 25.
