Natsu Uso -Ahead of the Reminiscence- is the second game in a series of short visual novels by Campus, and their 3rd game in general. The first game in the series is Haru Uso -Passing Memories-.
Continuing on with the theme “lying”, protagonist Souichirou is once again able to tell whenever people are lying. This time however, it’s not the most popular girl in school that comes to him. Instead the game focuses on Aoi Izumi, a member of the student council. They met in early summer last year but eventually grew apart. Aoi has been acting cold around Souichirou ever since.
A year later, Souichirou suddenly finds himself waking up in a room he has only ever visited once before. For some reason that very same cold-attitude girl is sleeping next to him… No matter what he tries though, Souichirou can’t remember what happened last night. It seems that this will be a troublesome summer…
