All-ages girls love visual novel Flowers to be localized by JAST USA

Earlier this week at the Anime Expo JAST USA announced that they obtained the license for the Flowers visual novel series. The original Japanese series is one that’ll be split into 4 parts, with 2 of them released so far (2014 and 2015). Those that know about the series also that it’s themed around all-age rated girls love, featuring a female protagonist.

It’s currently unknown whether JAST USA will be bringing us all parts, but they’ve opened an official website right here. The site features a story summary, the Japanese OP and some sample CGs. Which are actually drawn by Miki Sugina (vndb).

The first part, Flowers -Le Volume sur Printemps-, is expected to be released in fall this year.

Story (From the official site)

Surrounded by immense walls in the middle of a forest, lies the Saint Angraecum Academy. Suoh Shirahane, a girl with a wounded heart, enrolls in the academy that is teeming with young beauties.

Due to certain reasons, this young girl has always remained indoors, and has never been touched by anyone outside of her family. She’s not the most social person, but her new school’s experiment, called “Amitié,” will require her to make friends with others, as the program’s goal is to optimize the ability of communication.

The “friends” provided by the academy, and a faint feeling of love towards them. In the midst of a quiet academy life, the strange disappearance of an academy student occurs…
