English publisher MangaGamer has announced a release date for the download edition of Kara no Shoujo – The Second Episode. The sequel to Kara no Shoujo has been long expected ever since its original announcement and it seems that a release is now close at last. MangaGamer has set the date to October 30 so if all goes well you’ll be able to enjoy this lengthy visual novel in just over a month’s time. Pre-orders have also opened up on their official store with a slight pre-order discount.
If you want to try the game first you can also get the trial edition from the game’s official English site. It features a prologue story to the game instead of gameplay from the main game itself. Meaning you can play the trial without worrying about reading the same thing twice when the actual game is released.
Opening movie
MangaGamer has also published the OP movie for the game. It’s available over at their Youtube channel here. Though unfortunately it won’t provide anything new for those familiar with the original Japanese work. The released OP is an exact copy of Innocent Grey’s first OP for the game. Its vocals are by Haruka Shimotsuki, and the song itself was composed by Manyo.
