G-senjou no Maou has now been released on Steam

In just a few months since its original announcement, Sekai Project has now released the translated edition of Akabei Soft2’s crime and detective visual novel “G-senjou no Maou”. For which the official English title is “The Devil on G-String”. The original game was released back in 2008 and has always had a popular reception amongst fans of visual novels around the globe.

In G-senjou no Maou’s story you play through the eyes of Kyousuke Azai, a young man that besides attending school also helps with his stepfather’s “business”. He himself however, also loves listening to classical music and has a bright personality, spending a peaceful and happy life at school.

But then something happens that threatens his daily life. The “Maou” appears and causes several incidents to happen throughout the city. It’s at that time that a long-haired girl named Haru Usami appears, and a battle of wits unfolds to uncover the true identity of the “Maou”.

Two editions

The game is available on Steam in two different editions, the voiceless- and the voiced edition. Both of these editions are currently off by 30%, a sale that ends on November 12. Note that the voiced edition includes Japanese voices, not English.

Now, if you pick the voiceless edition now you can always upgrade to the voiced edition later by the use of the downloadable Japanese voice pack.
