Prefundia page up for Libra of the Vampire Princess

Good news for those of you who are eagerly awaiting the Kickstarter for the English localization of Onomatope’s/Xero’s Kyuuketsu Hime no Libra, also known by its English title of “Libra of the Vampire Princess”. For the localization the company is working with MiKandi Japan, and recently they’ve published a Prefundia page in preparation for the Kickstarter campaign.

The page is available here and on the page we can find a short introduction of the game and its main characters. Those who already played the recently released Japanese version of the game may already be familiar with them but every one else probably isn’t.

The starting goal for their campaign will be $170,000, which puts it just above Grisaia’s original goal. These funds will go towards a Steam and physical release. The page itself does not mention its intended age audience anywhere.

Tiers

The first digital copies of the game will be awarded from backing $35 and up, with higher tiers including digital bonuses such as a picture book and a soundtrack. Physical copies become available from $50, and the first combined version is available at $80.

From $125 and up the tiers start to include other bonus items like stickers, badges, tapestries and acrylic figures. You should really have a look at the list for yourself to see if there’s something that catches your interest.

In the higher tiers we see tiers like the $1500 one, which will earn you with the option to have your own face drawn onto a background character. The real fans can also opt for a half day tour of Akihabara with Xero, though you would have to pay at least double.

Stretch Goals

At the moment the stretch goals seem fairly simple, with 2 tiers of additional mini episodes as well as one with a new English theme song. The highest tier at $253,000 will unlock an Android port.

Release date

The page mention a current target date of Fall 2016.
