A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow is a visual novel by the developer Unison Shift: Blossom and published by Denpasoft, Sekai Project, and Kohaku Translations. The original Japanese name is “Tokeijikake no Ley Line -Zan’ei no Yoru ga Akeru Toki-“. A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow is the second game in the trilogy.

This visual novel is for fans of multiple route mysteries and one true ending. Fans who like lots of choices, rated endings and long plot lines will also enjoy A Clockwork Ley-Line: Daybreak of Remnants Shadow.

There are several winding routes where the choices matter and this title will take you several completions to unlock everything.

Story / setting

In Daybreak of Remnants Shadow, protagonist Michiru continues his investigations as a member of the Bureau for the Investigation of Special Affairs. He still does this together with Ushio at his side when a new visitor arrives at the academy. The girl’s name is Adelheid and she comes in search of a keepsake that belongs to her grandmother. She wants the bureau’s help in her search and will go to any lengths to get what she wants.

During this investigation they also continue their search for the mysteries behind the two world that reside at the academy. How did these worlds mix up? And since when?
